Poland were forced to settle for a point in their opening 2010 World Cup qualifier against Slovenia.

Slovenia refused to buckle, though, and levelled matters 10 minutes before the break.

Group 4

Germany showed no fear to Liechtenstien as they thumped to a 6-0 victory over the tiny nation.
Wales had earlier beaten Azerbaijan 1-0, while the other two sides in Group 4, Russia and Finland, were not in action.

Montenegro’s first competitive match ended in a 2-2 draw after a topsy-turvy 90 minutes.
