Middlesbrough snatch victory at the death after a dreadful mistake from Steven Sidwell hands Tuncay the chance to win it for the visitors. Tuncay Sanli’s late goal sealed the win for Middlesbrough – despite the Tees men being second best at Villa Park.
Boro took the lead when Nicky Shorey’s mistake allowed Tuncay to pounce ,only for Steve Sidwell to level three minutes later with a header.
Ross Turnbull denied Ashley Young and James Milner, while Afonso Alves missed a sitter from close range, before Tuncay pounced on Sidwell’s error
