back-to-football This game has to go down as one of the best FA cup finals ever if not the best.Liverpool took on west ham in Cardiff 2006 in the fa cup final which produced a brillant 3-3 result which had to be decided in penalties.West Ham took an early two-goal lead thanks to Jamie Carragher’s own goal and Dean Ashton’s close-range strike, before  Cisse hit one back.

Steven Gerrard lashed home an equaliser after the break before Paul Konchesky’s speculative cross put West Ham ahead nice goal too!. Gerrard’s stunning last-minute strike forced extra-time, with Pepe Reina saving from Bobby Zamora, Konchesky and Ferdinand in the shoot-out

Reina making up for a poor performance during normal time with three crucial spot-kick saves in this game But of course one player really stood out in this one Steven Gerrard shows why he is one of the best players in world just take a look at the highlights below.
