Ronnie Radford a real blast from the past scored one off the most well known goals in fa cup history when he fired a screamer for Hereford Utd against newcastle back in the 1972 FA Cup.
In epic FA Cup 3rd Round Replay battle at Edgar Street Hereford’s first goal the equaliser was nicknamed the famous ‘Ronnie Radford Rocket’, was subsequently voted BBC Goal of the Season for 1971/72 and you can see why when you watch the video.
Real cup shocker this one as Ricky George got the winner for Hereford to give them a famous win over newcastle 2-1 oh the magic of the fa cup
