Chelsea 1 Man Utd 0

Chelsea got the win today over arch rival united thanks to skipper John Terry with the help of anelka.Terry grabbed the only goal of the game to extend Chelsea’s Premier League lead to five points and deal a big blow to Manchester United’s title chances

Nicolas Anelka tested Edwin Van der Sar with a fine curling effort and Wayne Rooney had a shot deflected into the side-netting by Ricardo Carvalho early in the game.

United cranked up the pressure at the death as Rooney fired wide and brought a superb diving save out of Petr Cech, but Terry nicked the points by glancing a header in a combo with anelka from a Frank Lampard’s free-kick .

Plenty of united players and the manager thought the freekick should not have been given which leaded to the goal seeing the reply they did have a point.

Hull 2 Stoke 1

Jimmy BullardJan Vennegoor of Hesselink’s last-gasp strike ensured a vital win for Hull city to lift there hopes to get out of the bottom three today.

Stoke had taken the lead when Matthew Etherington beat Matt Duke at his near post but the Tigers levelled when Seyi Olofinjana curled a looping shot over Thomas Sorensen.

Abdoulaye Faye was sent off, before Vennegor of Hesselink pounced on Jimmy Bullard’s long-range shot which had been parried into this path by the kepper.

West Ham 1 Everton 2

Teenager Dan Gosling grabbed the winner to earn Everton only their fourth Premier League win of the season.

Louis Saha gave the Toffees the lead with a low shot and Gosling got a second after his initial effort was parried back to him by Rob Green.

Tony Hibbert sliced Junior Stanislas’ goalbound shot into his own net and Zavon Hines wasted two one-on-one chances to level for West Ham.

West Ham United now drop into the bottom three of the Premier League after losing this game.

Wigan 1 Fulham 1

Clint Dempsey’s penalty earned Fulham a hard-fought away point.

Emmerson Boyce fired the Latics into an early lead but Hugo Rodallega and Paul Scharner both went close before Dempsey netted from the spot after being flattened by Titus Bramble .

The hosts continued to press in the end with Hendry Thomas and Charles N’Zogbia leading the charge but both men were denied by the brillant Mark Schwarzer.
