torres-goal-united Liverpool got yet another great win over manchester united as Fernando Torres and David Ngog struck to get liverpool back on track at Anfield .Bolton also got a win over everton in a five goal thriller, city drew and arsenal dropped points at west ham.

Liverpool 2 Man Utd 0

Before the game thousands of Liverpool’s supporters staged a demonstration before  the match  protesting at the way the club is being run under American co-owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks

On the field a great goal from Fernando Torres guided Liverpool back to winning ways in all action game at Anfield.

Torres latched onto a ball from Yossi Benayoun and held off the challenge of Rio Ferdinand to smash home and give the reds the lead

Both teams finished the match with 10 men after Nemanja Vidic was dismissed in the final minute  for a third straight game and Javier Mascherano was sent off also for a second yellow in time added on.

Lucas then set up sub David Ngog at the end to clinch a third successive win over the champions.Once more rafa has the last say and proves many that he is still the right man for the job at anfield.Man United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was disappointed see video

Bolton 3 Everton 2

Klasnic’s first goal for Bolton got the home team all three points in hard-fought battle at bolton

The hosts went ahead when Chung-Yong Lee fired into the bottom corner and Gary Cahill made it two by nodding in Matthew Taylor’s free-kick.

Everton hit back with Louis Saha with a thunderous strike and Marouane Fellaini then levelled in style from an acute angle.But bolton had the last say as Klasnic’s low effort flew past Tim Howard at the end

Bolton manager Gary Megson thought his side played some great football 

Man City 2 Fulham 2

Manchester City threw away a two-goal advantage against Fulham as their 100% record at Eastlands ended.

Diomansy Kamara and Bobby Zamora missed chances for the Cottagers before Joleon Lescott prodded home from Emmanuel Adebayor’s shot and Martin Petrov added a brilliantly worked second.

Damien Duff rifled into the corner to give the visitors hope and Clinton Dempsey headed in the equaliser to share the points  .

Fulham manager Roy Hodgson thought his side got their reward for not giving up after they fell two behind at the City of Manchester Stadium see video


 

West Ham 2 Arsenal 2

Arsenal threw away a two goal lead as Strikes from Carlton Cole and Alessandro Diamanti ensured 10-man west ham a late draw.

Arsenal had gone in front when Robin van Persie tapped in and William Gallas doubled the lead by heading home a pinpoint Van Persie corner.

Cole then nodded in Diamanti’s parried free-kick and the latter levelled from the spot before Scott Parker was shown a second yellow for handling.Arsenal wont be happy with his result as west ham will be delighted.
