Britain’s Got Talent – Ones To Watch Next Season

England has been the breeding ground for some of the biggest players within the British game, giving us the likes of Wayne Rooney, John Terry, Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole to name just a few.

With the English international side quickly losing their battle against time, a new breed of English international stars needs to be worked into the first team and we have collected eight names that you should look out for next season as they look to make their mark on the International stage.

Scott Sinclair

Sinclair is currently contracted to Championship side Swansea but has become a leading player within their squad, not only providing a huge number of assits for his team mates but also scoring 20 goals this term.

The winger offers pace, skill and pace in a complete package and he will definitely be one to watch as he travels to Denmark for the under 21’s European Championships.

Andy Carroll

Carroll became one of the most expensive players in the English game this winter after securing a move from Newcastle United to Liverpool.

The tall striker offers power, strength and finishing ability to the England side, providing a target man for their attacking play.

Chris Smalling

Smalling joined Premier League champions Manchester United from Fulham and has since begun to make a stand for a first team place within the starting line up after a number of strong personal performances during his opportunities handed to him by manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

Showing that he can handle the game even on the largest scale, Smalling possesses a great ability for tackling, showing excellent timing and precision when making a challenge.

Danny Welbeck

Welbeck is contracted with Manchester United but has spent much of this season on loan with Sunderland, offering him the chance to be able to get first team football experience at the top level of the English game.

Welbeck possesses a frightening level of pace, even when running with the ball, striking fear into defenders and giving him the chance to break from from the trailing pack of opponents to show his finishing ability is not too shabby either.

The striker became a huge hit with the Sunderland fans after a massive performance against Chelsea earlier this season, scoring in the game that the club overcame the Premier League title holders 3-0.

Daniel Sturridge

On loan at Bolton this season, Sturridge has proven to be the most in form striker contracted at Chelsea, surpassing the performances of the likes of Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka.

Recognised for his finishing ability, the forward has shown that he certainly knows how to find the back of the net, scoring on his Bolton debut back in January and netting a further 5 more goals in the Premier League.

Tom Cleverley

Tom is a young Manchester United starlet and has been handed the opportunity to show his ability after being placed out on loan for the past two seasons.

Considered to be a blossoming new breed of Frank Lampard, Cleverley has an undoubted ability to find team mates with perfect passes, score goals against even some of the biggest clubs in the world and possess the composure of a much more mature playmaker.

Cleverley has been heavily tipped with a feature within the Man United starting line up for next season and experience like that would certainly make him into a ‘Xavi’ figure within the International and domestic level game.

Jack Wilshere

Wilshere is a recognised name following his performances within the Arsenal first team, making him one of the first names on the team sheet for manager Arsene Wenger.

The midfielder is a workhorse within the central of the midfield and his reading and vision within the game is sensational for a player of only 19 years of age.

Jordan Henderson

Henderson has broke into the football scene in a big way, becoming one of the most sort after talents within the English game and that isn’t just down to one single capability.

Henderson is considered to be a completely rounded midfielder, offering a box-to-box work rate as well as the ability to be able to pick out a pass from almost anywhere on the field.

A pairing of Cleverley and Henderson could well be considered for the Euro Championships in Denmark this year, anymore worth adding?
