standard-charted-liverpool-fc Liverpool have given Carlsberg the boot and have settled on a new four-year contract with Standard Chartered Bank.This will start from next july and will replace Carlsberg, so new kit once again on the cards for all you reds fans.
Liverpool hope the deal will help to build a bigger status around the world, and the Premier League club’s managing director Christian Purslow believes it is a sign of progress.

Purslow said: “This partnership brings together two highly successful organisations with a really strong cultural and strategic fit.It is a real sign of the progress we have made at Liverpool that we have been able to secure the largest ever commercial deal in our history.”

Standard Chartered Bank provides personal and business banking services in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, UK, Europe and the Americas.

“The fans will ask, of course, whether the money will stay within the club and they’ll be pleased to know the revenue, profits and income is the club’s,” said Purslow. “It stays in the club, and our job is to support the team so we’ll invest a sensible amount in our wage bill and a sensible level of profits in our transfers.
