Jermaine Beckford to leave leeds in Transfer request
January 6, 2010
Jermaine Beckford has handed in a transfer request, the League One club have confirmed.
Beckford, who scored Leeds’s goal in the shock 1-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford in round three of the FA Cup on Sunday, is out of contract in the summer
Hes probably realistically looking at a move to newcastle, his contract ends at the end of the season anyway and leeds are doing well enough to get promoted without him, they may aswell get as much money as they can for him now rather than see him go for free in the summer.
Is it the right time to make a move? he could become the next Robert Earnshaw
Also if he goes to newcastle he will be a premier league player next season, so any ideas on his next move and how do leeds fans feel? Vote below
