gallas-goal Arsenal got a vital away win at celtic tonight put the pressure all on celtic in the second leg.Both sides had enjoyed comfortable away wins in their opening league wins on Saturday, Tony Mowbray opted for radical alterations to his frontline while Arsenal were unchanged following their 6-1 win at Everton.Gallas got the first goal but the second caldwell turned into his own net from a clichy cross.Before that, Tony Mowbray’s side had threatened on as many occasions as their rivals, but it was Arsenal who first came close. Tony Mowbray’s men will now have to score two goals at the Emirates Stadium in the second leg to have really any hope of progressing.

Wenger quoted on Gallas: Wenger also described the defender William Gallas as “in the best form of his last two years,” and praised the midfielder Alexandre Song. “In the last two games Song has played extremely well. He can win the fight, not only with the physical strength but he has that sense, he can nick the ball from the opponent without fouling and that is an interesting quality.”
