chicago-fire-win Chicago  fire got a  good away win over the rapids last night in the mls. Chicago scored two half goals to hold on for their first victory in Colorado since Oct. 6, 1999.

Fire midfielder Marco Pappa scored his fifth goal of the season in the 30th minute and defender Wilman Conde contributed with his second of the year seven minutes later to build the Chicago advantage. Jacob Peterson tallied his first goal of the season in the 76th minute to cut into the deficit, but it was not enough as the Rapids have now lost back-to-back contests for the first time this year.Highlights below

 Rapids will host FC Dallas for the second time in three weeks next Saturday, July 11 at 7:30 pm at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.
