Uefa are looking to put in a a two-match ban but is that enough? More here

Eduardo da Silva’s vilification from all sides is madness. He is not the first player to have ever gone to ground with little or no contact and he sadly will not be the last. It is possible to stop such incidents though: a specific panel to look at video evidence and hand out two-match suspensions is one potential start

Eduardo was charged under Uefa’s rules governing the misconduct of players, more specifically, article 10, paragraph 1C – a measure introduced after 2004 that punishes players with a two-match ban for “acting with obvious intent to cause any match official to make an incorrect decision”. The rule has been invoked only once, against Lithuania international Saulius Mikoliunas, for a dive against Scotland in 2007, and Wenger said he believed Eduardo had been victimised. See second video below

Summary: Celtic got knocked out of the Champions League it was not the Eduardo penalty that lost them to tie, but their approach to the first leg.

Shows 100% dive
