England get a great win over Czech Rep 2-0 full report and goals to come  England’s Under-21s win AGAIN, their 28th consecutive match without defeat, a quite remarkable run.

The Three Lions secured their place at the tournament in Sweden after they overcame Wales 5-4 on aggregate in a play-off tie last month.

The home side drew first blood when the visiting defence failed to deal with an aerial ball, which allowed Campbell to sneak in on the right and finish well from an acute angle.

Vaughan should have doubled the lead eight minutes later but he somehow sent the ball over the bar from six yards after great interplay with Campbell.

Aston Villa midfielder Gardner was also guilty of a glaring miss when, two minutes before the break, he poked the ball wide from close range after Campbell again tore the Czech defence apart with his pace.

After half-time England turned the heat up even more, and it was not long before they put the result beyond their guests, who were technically sound but had no cutting edge.

Gardner was cynically tugged down by Michal Svec on the edge of the box and he dusted himself down to drill a low free-kick past the surprised Divis into the bottom left corner.Within seconds from the restart England had a golden opportunity to make it 3-0. Jamie O’Hara made a run from left-back and put a far-post ball to Campbell, who drew a needless foul from Jakub Heidenreich.
