torres goalFernando Torres is now the fastest Liverpool player to score 50 league goals in Liverpool history as he scored deep into injury time to give liverpool a much needed win playing villa away.

As the game entered the third minute of injury-time, the game destined to end in a stalemate, the ball bounced clear of villa defence  into the path of the Spaniard, who finished well hitting it low into the far corner past Friedel.

The goal moves Liverpool to seventh position in the table, four points behind the Champions League places, while Villa remain fifth
