Well after more than just a year its now time to say goodbye to setanta sports im sure we wont forget santa des and his yellow outfit plus that rather nice auz lady who was in big brother.The Company management have informed their 430 employees of the decision to call in the administrators with immediate effect.
Despite months of attempts to save the business, Setanta was unable to find additional funding to maintain a network that had contracts to show several sports including football, rugby, golf and boxing
Setanta went into administration yesterday along with their TV coverage, Setanta’s online presence is no more to be seen, which means the end of the live transfer blog which was close to establishing itself as the most important page on the world wide web for up to date transfer news in the summer months.
Setanta had been warned earlier this week that the league would sell off their 46 live matches for next season to the highest bidder if they did not make the £30m payment. Setanta will hand over its business affairs to the administrator to sort out company debts, attempt to pay off suppliers and terminate customer agreement
