Woodgate got a late winner for spurs tonight in the monday night game as they took on Hull City away from home. This is a much needed win for harry rednapps team as they fight to get out of the dropzone in the premiership .
The unmarked Aaron Lennon had fired in from 18 yards but Carlo Cudicini failed to claim a corner and Michael Turner bundled in to equalise, before both sides hit the woodwork
Jonathan Woodgate had the last say with a towering header earned Spurs a precious victory.
The defender rose to meet Benoit Assou- Ekotto’s superb cross and nod in before his 50th Spurs appearance came to an early end due to a nasty cut.

The result saw Harry Redknapp’s side climb two places to 14th and move within a point of Hull, whose season is now in serious danger of falling apart.
The Tigers have not won in the league since October and unless that alarming slide cannot soon be arrested, a relegation battle is just around the corner for the Premier League debutants
