The first goal took only eight minutes as Jimmy Bullard found himself in space on the right hand side, the Fulham midfielder whipped a cross into the centre of the penalty area and Seol Ki-Hyeon made no mistake, heading home from close range.

The home side seemed stunned by that goal, with Fulham continuing to pour forward and the visitors should have been further ahead with a number of opportunities.

However 22 minutes in, Geovanni picked the ball up in space between the midfield and defence, turned away from Zoltan Gera and unleashed a ferocious curling left-foot strike past Mark Schwarzer.

After the break, the home side seized the initiative and bossed the midfield although both sides created chances and threatened to take the points.

Geovanni missed a sitter from six-yards-out and Michael Turner headed over in a good position for the home side, while Seoul was inches away from converting a Bobby Zamora cross for Fulham.

The winner did come nine minutes from time, much to the delight of the home fans. Substitute Craig Fagan latched onto a mistake by Paul Konchesky before squaring for fellow substitute Caleb Folan, who found himself unmarked six yards from goal and slotted home.
