What a thriller this was as it rained goals in milan Palermo had been unbeaten in their previous five games but they were still torn apart in the first half as Inter carved out a seemingly 4-0 lead. But all was not lost for Palermo scoring 3 in the second half to make it 4-3 but lucky for inter a Diego Milito effort sealed it seven minutes from time making it 5-3 on the night.
Eto’o opened the scoring and strike partner Mario Balotelli then netted twice before Eto’o grabbed the fourth just before the break. Palermo stormed back via Fabrizio Miccoli’s superb double and an Abel Hernandez goal but Inter substitute Diego Milito saved the day.The result sends Inter four points clear at the top of the table in serie a with Palermo now back in seventh
Mario Balotelli won a penalty five minutes into their match and had to be pulled away from taking the penalty for eto’o to take he was not a happy bunny but you can understand why he might have had a hatrick on the nite
