Tottenham manage to hold onto their lead move of the bottom of the table. Harry Redknapp remains undefeated during his four game reign at White Hart Lane and memories of the winless opening eight games are fading fast around North London.Darren Bent’s brace kept up Tottenham’s revival against nine-man City and saw them move out of the bottom three.

Robinho fired City ahead before Gelson Fernandes saw red for two yellow cards while Bent capitalised on a Richard Dunne error to level it.

Bent took Jermaine Jenas’s ball to fire in off a post .Dunne was sent off for fouling Bent before Benoit Assou-Ekotto saw red for Spurs
