NEC Nijmegen 0 – 3 Hamburger Uefa Highlights

Piotr Trochowski, Alex Silva and Ivica Olic scored as Hamburg defeated NEC Nijmegen 3-0 in the UEFA Cup round of 32 on Wednesday.

Trochowski scored off a free kick awarded after Milano Koenders’ handball five minutes before halftime.

Silva converted Mladen Petric’s cross in the 45th, and Olic added a third 15 minutes from time for his fifth competition goal.

Wednesday’s defeat left NEC Nijmegen needing more than three goals to advance to the last 16 in next week’s return leg
