New England Revolution 1 – 2 Chicago Fire Superliga

Legend Blanco scored and help set up another  and put  Chicago Fire into the SuperLiga final with a 2-1 win over  champions New England .
Chicago will host the final for North American on Aug. 5 against  either Santos Laguna or Tigres UANL of the Primera Division.

Blanco lofted a pass to striker Brian McBride, who booted it past Revolution goalkeeper Matt Reis in the 33rd minute.Edgeras Jankauskas drew level a minute before halftime when his bicycle kick deflected off Chicago midfielder John Thorrington and past goalkeeper Jon Busch.

Blanco’s goal on a free kick in the 63rd put the Fire ahead.

The Revolution twice unlucky hit the crossbar; Kenny Mansally in the first half, and Kheli Dube
