Chelsea-v-Manchester-City handshake Terry and Bridge came face to face for the first time since allegations surfaced about the Chelsea’s skipper relationship with Bridge’s former partner.

Bridge looked as if he was going to then decided against shaking the hand of John Terry as Manchester City faced chelsea today in a game they won 4-2.City did the double over Chelsea this season thanks to Carlos Tevez and Craig Bellamy who both scored twice, while Chelsea lost both Branislav Ivanovic and Michael Ballack to red cards towards the end of the game.Lampard got the goals for chelsea in a rare defeat at the bridge which leaves yet again the title race wide open.

City boss Roberto Mancini paid tribute to Bridge’s recent performances for the club, and praised the way his team-mates had rallied round him during his personal troubles.

”Wayne Bridge has been playing well and this team has a fantastic spirit and for this reason we won this game,” he said. ”It was a difficult game because Chelsea is a fantastic team and has played for many years in the Champions League
