Portsmouth accept UAE Offer Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim

Portsmouth have accepted a bid from businessman Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim to buy the club, according to their website.

Al Fahaim was the initial figurehead of the Abu Dhabi United Group when they took control of Manchester City in the summer, but is no longer involved.

Reports from the United Arab Emirates suggest that Al Fahaim has been in Rome with current Pompey owner Alexandre Gaydamak, discussing the deal.
