_42362687_spurs_goal203 Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has accused Roman Pavlyuchenko of disrespecting fans and team-mates by storming off against Manchester City.

The striker reacted angrily to being substituted with 15 minutes to go in Saturday’s 2-1 win at White Hart Lane.

The Russia international was replaced by Frazier Campbell, but instead of taking a seat on the bench he jogged straight down the tunnel.

“I don’t like that,” said Redknapp. “You’re looking to scrap away, the fans are here, they pay their money to watch and when a player runs down the tunnel without sitting and watching his team, getting behind his team – it’s disrespectful.”

Aaron Lennon’s excellent season has seen Bentley kept on the sidelines, and Redknapp added: “David is obviously going to think, ‘hang on, I’m not in the team even when Aaron Lennon’s not fit, and maybe it’s time I moved on’.

“As a person, I like David very much. He’s a good lad and a good player but I’ve changed how we play a little bit and I’ve had results, so no one can complain, can they?”
