Robinho Thinking of Barcelona move

Seems Barca is the team to play for at the moment now Robinho wants to play for Barcelona . The Brazilian burst onto the scene following his British transfer record signing from Real Madrid last summer but the £32.5million man suffered a dip in form towards the end of the season and rumours of an exit from Eastlands started to surface. The 25-year-old went AWOL from City’s Tenerife training camp last campaign and Marcelo Teixeira, the president of Robinho’s former club Santos, has said he reckons the 25-year-old may leave Manchester in the future.
Barcelona, the treble-winning European champions, have earned praise for their attacking ethos and Robinho reckons he would fit in well at the Nou Camp.
“So far, there have only been speculations. There is nothing concrete and I haven’t received any offers,” he said.
“The only thing I can say is that Barcelona are a great team and everybody would love to play for them.”
Fellow Brazilian Kaka has joined Barcelona’s bitter rivals Madrid for a world record £59million and Robinho hopes he can rediscover the form that saw him crowned the 2007 FIFA World Player of the Year.
“I wish him good luck at Madrid and I hope that he can become the best in the world again,” Robinho added
