 With the news that Steven Gerrard will be at least another 8 days out of action with his adductor muscle injury it appears the Liverpool captain will have a bit of free time on his hands over the coming days. But Gerrard is no fool. He has apparently been preparing for this.In the past year he has been bulding a new empire for him and his family and from what we can see its worked out very well.

Gerrard aggravated his thigh injury before Tuesday’s Champions League clash at Chelsea. He had strained his adductor in the first leg against Guus Hiddink’s side and was rested by manager Rafael Benitez for the 4-0 win over Blackburn last Saturday. But he was not even fit enough to make the bench at Stamford Bridge after Liverpool’s medical team discovered he had suffered a reaction to the problem during training. He wont be playing in the arsenal game this monday.
