Bentley Shines as Spurs knockout Fulham FA Cup

David bentley helped spurs overcome fulham in the FA Cup with a 3-1 win to advance into the semi finals tonight after a great comeback.Bentley came on as a second half sub to score with his first touch and help spurs score another after a first half poor performance.
Fulham took a shock lead in the first half and well deserved bobby zamora again on target. Minutes into the second half and Spurs levelled as sub David Bentley saw his free-kick bounce in the box and beyond Mark Schwarzer
On the hour, anothwer sub Roman Pavlyuchenko continued his outstanding form as he put spurs into the lead.
The win was sealed witha great flowing move saw Gudjohnsen round Schwarzer and fire home
A great reply from spurs who now have a great chance to get into the final as spurs now face portsmouth in the semi finals yes harry’s old club.Spurs deservedly win 3-1, and leave Fulham looking to Europe for a trophy this year.

Portsmouth marched on into FA Cup semifinals yesterday after a Frederic Piquionne double to secure a 2-0 home win over Birmingham City and give its fans something to cheer about for once .
Birmingham will go away fuming after what appeared to be a valid Liam Ridgewell goal ruled not to have crossed the line and on a
day FIFA’s ruled out the use of video technolog the goal should have been given.
Its no surprise Portsmouth fans were delighted especially as the club’s almost certain to drop out of the Premier League end of this season.
