Chivas USA 2 -2 LA Galaxy MLS Highlights

Chivas USA rallied for a 2-2 draw against Los Angeles Galaxy on Sunday in the first game of their Western Conference semifinal series.
Maicon Santos scored in the 4th minute for Chivas before Galaxy responded with goals from Mike Magee and Landon Donovan to take a 2-1 halftime lead.
Four minutes after going on as a substitute, Galindo pounced on a pass from Galaxy rookie Omar Gonzalez intended for goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts and scored from 15 yards.
Magee had earlier exploited a defensive mistake to score in the 14th minute after Yamith Cuesta failed to clear Donovan’s header.
Another miscue helped Donovan put the Galaxy ahead in the 41st minute from close range after Santos sent Paulo Nagamura’s clearance back to Chivas USA’s penalty area

David Beckham is back and made his return to the LA Galaxy starting line up having much boos welcoming the Englishman back to the MLS im sure he is loved really. But this did not stop LA winning there fourth straight match in style as LA march on. Alecko Eskandarian’s hit a superb left-footed volley opener from almost 30-yards in the third minute. Landon Donovan doubled the lead with another beauty from distance on the half hour while. Eddie Lewis then wrapped up a one-sided first half with the third which really put the game beyond the bulls . Juan Pablo Angel netted a very late consolation but this match was over really in the first half.
Beckham was taken off after 70 minutes in the still sweltering heat and muggy humidity in New Jersey of course he got boos but hit back with a smile
“I’ve had a lot more boos before in games,” Beckham said with a smile. “It’s to be expected. It’s sometimes nice to get the boos. It gives you inspiration

Costa Rica 3 – 1 United States World Cup qualifier Highlights

Alvaro Saborio Hit a very early goal in just 79 seconds in, the second-fastest goal against the United States in a World Cup qualifier, as Costa Rica coasted to a 3-1 win in San Jose on Wednesday.
Celso Borges added another in the 13th minute, and Pablo Herrera sealed the win for 41st-ranked Costa Rica when he made it 3-0 in the 69th. Landon Donovan scored the only U.S. goal when he converted a penalty kick in second-half stoppage time.
The 14th-ranked Americans play Honduras on Saturday in Chicago but will be without Michael Bradley after the midfielder picked up a yellow card in the 54th minute, earning a one-game suspension.
Costa Rica now move into first place in the six-team regional finals of North and Central America and the Caribbean with nine points, two ahead of the U.S. The Americans, though, remain in good position to qualify for their sixth straight World Cup
