Nigeria hit back just past the hour mark when former Newcastle striker Obafemi Martins converted Peter Odemwingie’s pass.
Yakubu Aiyegbeni fired Nigeria in front on 65 minutes when he converted from close range after his initial shot came back off the post.
Allan Wetende headed Kenya level on 79 minutes to leave Nigeria staring at missing out on qualification.

Martins came to Nigeria’s rescue to the the hero with the crucial winner seven minutes from time to send the fans wild
