In rome Juventus got a great win against Roma as Brazilian Diego orchestrated an eye-catching 3-1 victory.
The diminutive Juve playmaker Diego tore through the Roma backline in the 25th minute before producing the expert finish.Roma then pulled a goal back with a top class goal from Daniele De Rossi, the midfielder working a quick free-kick before hitting a shot over Buffon. Juventus retook the lead, Diego showing his class and talent yet again in skillfully adding his second . Gent 1 – 7 Roma Totti Hatrick

Roma romped to a win away at gent yesterday.Francesco Totti was on fire as he hit a hat-trick as Roma brushed away Gent 7-1 in last night’s Europa League qualifier.
“Totti is that player,” grinned coach Luciano Spalletti. “He has quality, those moments that can change a match from free kicks or open play. He is phenomenal.
“Clearly we were aided by the fact Gent had a man sent off before half-time, but this time the team went out on form and concentrated. I’m convinced that, regardless of lucky incidents, we still would’ve taken home the win.”
Totti was inspirational with his treble in Belgium, sending Roma through to the play-offs 10-2 on aggregate.
“The important thing was to go through,” insisted the captain. “It was not an easy game and they were very motivated. Now we can go all the way in this competition, even if there is a long road ahead of us.”

Nice end to end game this one. Roma took a two goal lead after blackburns NZonzi’s mistake allowed Rodrigo Taddei to score.Then x liverpool player John Arne Riise drove a trademark free-kick past Jason Brown.
Blackburn then hit back Paul Gallagher scored on the stroke of halftime, the striker coolly converted after Jason Roberts had taken advantage of a poor error by Riise. And Rovers then pulled level Aaron Doran scored on 52 minutes, firing home his first goal in a rovers shirt.The game ended with roma just being that bit better in the penalty shoot out .
