Tottenham Hotspur keeper Carlo Cudicini has sustained what police have described as “possibly life-changing” injuries after crashing his motorbike in London on Thursday.

Cudicini made his first competitive appearance in nearly six months for Tottenham when he came on as a substitute for the injured Gomes in a 5-1 victory over Hull City on 19 August 2009. He played a number of matches, including a 3-0 defeat at his former club Chelsea on 20 September 2009 which saw him return to Stamford Bridge for the first time since leaving the club

Reports are coming in he fractured both wrists and injured his pelvis, lets hope he gets better soon

Spurs started there pre season away to Exeter last night as they won 3-0 on the night .Jamie O’Hara was first on the scoresheet firing home from the edge of the box. Harry Redknapp changed the whole team at halftime as Luka Modric set up Aaron Lennon for the second before Darren Bent tapped home a easy third after a Pavyluchenko effort had been saved by the keeper.Exeter held up well in midfield but spurs to strong on the night.

Ledley King arrested outside nightclub

King, who is Tottenham Hotspur captain, is being questioned on suspicion of causing bodily harm to another man during the alleged  incident outside a london nightclub.Scotland Yard spokeswoman said: “A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of ABH following an allegation of assault made by a man in his 20s.”

King was rude to a doorman when he could not get back into the club said quotes like he was rich and if you dont let me back in your lose your job.King was taken to a central London police station where he remains in custody.

The victim is understood to have refused medical treatment following the alleged incident outside Punk nightclub.

There has so far been no comment from King or from Tottenham Hotspur.King, 28, who joined Spurs in 1998, played in a Premier League game on Saturday which saw his team draw 0-0 against Everton.

Having been bailed after spending several hours in police custody, King issued the following statement on the Spurs’ official website.

“I sincerely regret that a night out with friends went too far,” he said.

“I have apologised to Harry and I fully appreciate that, as a professional footballer, I have a duty to behave in a responsible manner.

“I am assisting the police with their enquiries. Anyone who knows me, knows that much of what has been suggested is totally out of character.

“I am keen to resolve this as soon as possible and concentrate on my football. I shall be putting my all into ensuring I give of my best for the remaining fixtures
