Sources close to the club have revealed that the club are looking to replace the troubled manager in time for the January transfer window so that the new manager can invest their newly offered transfer budget as he sees fit.

The source also revealed that the club are lining up a possible move for Galatasary manager Frank Rijkaard very likely after the new owners instructed information to be gathered on the former Barcelona manager.

With John Henry already buying the club and taking on the clubs debts, it seems that he is willing to add a further £3million to the tab, the amount that would be required to be paid to current manager Roy Hodgson if they were to terminate his contract in order to free up the hotspot.

At least we know he will not quit anfield

“I have heard the ridiculous rumours about me resigning, and I can tell you there is not an iota of truth in any of them,” Hodgson told Sky Sports. “The simple truth is that I have never considered resigning, and I never will.”

I think Liverpool would be better off sticking with Roy Hodgson. He deserves more time. The only thing that worries me  is can he turn things around after such a poor start, the next few games will make or break his future I feel.

Time for change liverpool fans?
