darren-bent-twitter-rant The power of twitter is now showing Bent admitted that his infamous X-rated Twitter rant had paid off after he was unveiled as a Sunderland player.

The Sun claims one of the Tweets said: “Do I wanna go Hull City NO. Do I wanna go Stoke NO. Do I wanna go Sunderland YES. So stop f*****g around, Levy.”
He previously wrote: “Why can’t anything be simple? It’s so frustrating hanging round doing jack s**t. Seriously getting p***ed off now. Sunderland are not the problem in the slightest

The striker blasted Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy on his Twitter page for apparently holding up his transfer but has now joined the Black Cats for a club-record fee which could hit £15m.

Bent, 25, said: “In the long run, it seems like it has done (paid off). I just wanted to come to Sunderland.”

Well  the ongoing transfer saga from Tottenham to Sunderland is finally complete. Bent signed a four-year contract with the club

Happy days
