uruguay-0-4-brazil Brazil showed there class tonight even with 10 men beating Uruguay 4-0 on the night.

Alves, starting in place of injured defender Maicon, made it 1-0 lead in the 12th minute from a 30-metre shot that bounced past goalkeeper Juan Castillo. But to be honest the keeper makes a silly mistake with phantom chest control!

Juan made it 2-0 in the 36th and Fabiano added another in the 52nd. Kaka converted a penalty in the 75th.Sebastian Eguren and Alvaro Pereira both had good chances for Uruguay in the first half before Luis Fabiano hammered home Brazil’s third goal early in the second period.

Fabiano was then sent off after picking up a second yellow card for diving before Kaka converted from the penalty spot after he had been felled in the area.Uruguay also finished the game with 10 men after Maximiliano Pereira was sent off late on for a reckless challenge on Ramires

Brazil is the only country to have played in every World Cup, and the victory in the South American qualifier all but guarantees another appearance
