Video: New Stadium plans for Liverpool could change in Upgrading Anfield

With Hicks and Gillet on there way out off anfield and new owners coming in all is not clear that liverpool may not have a new stadium built and options to upgrade anfield could be a solution.

Broughton has confirmed that the agreed deal with New England Sports Ventures (NESV), the parent company of the Boston Red Sox baseball club, is worth around £300million.

He also says the prospective new owners are considering re-developing Anfield, rather than moving to a new stadium ( sky sports)

Liverpool chairman Martin Broughton expects the £300million sale of the club to be completed “in about a week”.
