Wales 2 U21 V England 3 U21 10/10/2008

Simon Church scored twice in the first half to keep Wales’ hopes alive in the play-off first leg but England were eventually too powerful.
David Wheater headed one equaliser, before Adam Johnson put England ahead. Church’s contribution was outstanding, but it was Gabriel Agbonlahor who grabbed the eventual winner to send England into next Tuesday’s second leg at Villa Park full of confidence.

  • why the hell isnt gabbys goal being shown everywhere?

the reason i say this is because last year, ronaldo scored an almost identicle goal and it was shown for MONTHS afterwards.

just shows how much pull the “sky four” have. annoys me.

blatant handball for the 3rd goal! bloody Romanian officials! great decision by UEFA to appoint Romanian officials considering we just knocked them out of the competition and there are 50 other countries they could have picked to officiate!

3rd goal was class, huddlestone kicked the ball it was not a hand, looked like it at first but watch it a few times and you will see. Unlucky though, well played, Villa park next, should be a game and a half.
