Newcastle netted three times in a frenetic first half to beat West Brom 3-2 at the Hawthorns in the Premier League.Newcastle held on to win a five-goal thriller in boss Joe Kinnear’s absence.
Damien Duff struck after Leon Barnett’s howler and, after Marc-Antoine Fortune muscled past Steven Taylor to equalise, Ryan Taylor’s shot broke to Peter Lovenkrands to slot home .
An unmarked Steven Taylor headed home after namesake Ryan’s corner eluded Paul Robinson but Fortune’s second ensured a nervy finish.
