3-2 final score a horrendous error from David James! saw Portsmouth crash to a 3-2 defeat at Bundesliga side Wolfsburg which ends their UEFA Cup campaign.Portsmouth crashed out of the Uefa Cup after suffering defeat in Germany.
The FA Cup holders needed a win but went behind when Edin Dzeko flicked home from close range (3) only for Jermain Defoe to level (11) and Arnold Mvuemba to fire them ahead (14).
The Germans hit back through Christian Gentner (23) and got a winner through Zvjezdan Misimovic (74), before he had a penalty saved by David James.
